Victim Services
Wellington is a non-profit, community based organization funded by
the Ministry of the Attorney General.
SPIRA Fire Victims Relief
Fund is a fund created to provide immediate financial aid to the victim(s)
of fire. The management and employees at Spira Fire Protection Ltd.
along with other community corporations raise monies to donate to the
fund. This aid is available to any victim(s) that reside in Guelph and
Wellington County that have experienced a material loss as a result
of a residential fire, and have no insurance.
Donations are accepted by
persons wishing to contribute directly to Victim Services Wellington.
Charitable Tax Receipts are issued for donations over $15.00.
Fundraising Events are held
to raise funds for Victim Services Wellington. Past fundraising events
have included raffles and gift wrapping services.
Golf Tournament- STG Synergenics
and Victim Services Wellington host an annual golf tournament. This
golf tournament normally takes place in June. Money for this event is
raised through golf registration fees and hole sponsorship.
